Terms of use

Path to Engineer is a free educational website run by one person, Rameshkumar Kannan. It offers a written 488-day curriculum, a curated list of practice problems that link out to other sites, an interview revision course and a personal job-application tracker.

It is free. There is no subscription, no paywall and no trial. The only money involved is an entirely voluntary tip.

This site teaches. It does not place anyone, and it promises no outcome.

Nothing here is a guarantee of a job, an interview, a salary or a result of any kind. It is not a placement agency, not a bootcamp with an outcome agreement, and not affiliated with any employer or university. Completing the pathway means you completed the pathway.

The content is written carefully and to the best of the author’s knowledge, but it may contain mistakes, and technology moves. Verify anything that matters against the official documentation.

Signing in is optional and uses Google. You are responsible for your Google account and anything done through it. One account per person, please.

You may delete your account at any time from the privacy page. Access may be removed if an account is used to attack, scrape or disrupt the service — see below.

You may read everything, use it to study, and quote short passages with a link back.

Please do not:

• republish the lessons, in whole or in substantial part, anywhere else
• sell, sublicense or bundle the curriculum into a paid course
• scrape the site in bulk or run automated requests against it
• attempt to reach data belonging to another user

Automated request limits are in place. Hitting them returns an error rather than a ban; repeatedly and deliberately working around them will end access.

Practice problems link out to LeetCode and GeeksforGeeks. Those problems and their statements belong to those platforms; this site stores only a title and a link, and claims nothing over them. Those names are used only to identify where a problem lives. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.

This runs on free hosting tiers and is maintained by one person around other commitments. It may be slow, briefly unavailable, or change without notice. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — particularly your job applications.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent Indian law allows, the author is not liable for any loss arising from using — or being unable to use — this site, including lost data, missed opportunities or decisions taken based on its content.

Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be waived by agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute.
